Opportunity Youth, more commonly known as disconnected youth, is a term for young adults between the ages of 16-24 who are not in school and not working. In 2018, the youth disconnection rate was 4.3 million, and COVID-19 has increased youth disconnection rates and brought these issues to the forefront like never before.
